John Price (Executive Chairman)
John Price

Over thirty years experience in IT and Telecommunications (IT&T) industries in Australia and USA, including eight years experience in Silicon Valley in the financing and development of IT&T related companies. Mr. Price has also managed direct and indirect IT&T distribution channels in Europe, Asia and Africa. Mr. Price is a graduate of the Harvard Business School.

Mr Price has been recognized as the Australian Entrepreneur of the Year. IBM, Qantas and Deloitte
sponsored this award. This is a prestigious award that focuses on vision, leadership and achievement and recognizes the important contribution individuals make in building wealth and improving a nation’s standard of living.

Mr. Price has held senior positions with Wang, Digital Equipment Corporation, Impact Systems and Net X Communications Inc.

The Hon. Ty McCoy (U.S. Director)
The Hon. Ty McCoy

Mr McCoy served as Acting Secretary of the U.S. Air Force.  He was appointed by President Reagan and confirmed by the United States Senate.  Mr McCoy founded venture capital firm (Washington Capital Partners).

Mr McCoy was previously Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the George Washington National Bank of Alexandria, West Point - 1967, BS (Engineering, Dean’s List) - George Washington University, 1975 MS (Business Financial Management) and All-American Water Polo for Army.

Mike Eckhart (U.S. Director)
The Hon. Ty McCoy

Michael Eckhart is President of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), co-chairman of the World Council for Renewable Energy (WCRE) and a member of the Steering Committee of the REN 21 global policy network. Since its formation in 2001, ACORE has grown to have over 400 organizational members; producing three major national conferences per year on renewable energy business, finance and policy; and participating in international renewable energy policy affairs.

Mr. Eckhart is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and also works through Solar International Management Inc. on financing of solar energy (SolarBank), and on development of a new international debt security called Global Development Bonds (GDB) for financing of sustainable development in the developing countries.

He has over 25 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, high technology and finance.

Richard Dewhurst (Advisory Board)
Richard Dewhurst

Mr Dewhurst has extensive experience in both the IT and Telecommunications industries in Asia and Australia and has had senior executive roles in both of these areas.  He has had a great deal of experience in Joint Venture and “start-up” businesses and has been involved from the time of initial capital raising through to operating companies.  He has worked extensively with both OTC and subsequently Telstra, in joint venture positions.

Mr Dewhurst was recently a senior executive with Optus.  Assignments completed include a major AMP outsourcing project, a Telecommunications strategy for American Express International in Japan, an advisory role to the Hong Kong Government Electronic Commerce Joint Venture (Tradelink) and Optus Communications.

Mr Dewhurst graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Canada.  He has acted as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce Telecommunications Committee in Korea and has been keynote speaker at a number of conferences dealing with Electronic Commerce and Electronic Distribution.

William Pugh (Chief Technology Officer)
William Pugh

Mr. Pugh has over twenty years experience in the design of power supplies, microprocessor and micro
controller systems, embedded firmware and data communications equipment. He has held senior positions with Group Schneider in their French Merlin Gerin Division and also with Exide Electronics in the USA.

Mr. Pugh holds an important US Patent relating to embedded remote management systems for DC Power Networks with applications in telecommunications, rail, air traffic control and remote power plants. Mr. Pugh holds a B.S. Physics (University North Carolina) and M.S. Electrical Engineering (North Carolina State University).

Doug Coppi (Advisory Board)
Doug Coppi

Mr Coppi is experienced with large complex projects. He was previously Senior Partner and Global Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Construction Risk & Dispute Resolution Advisory. Among the high profile construction projects Mr Coppi has been involved with are the 2002 Winter Olympic Village, the Boston Central Artery and Tunnel, the Athens Subway System, the Hoover Dam Visitor’s centre, the Denver International Airport, the Italian High Speed Rail, the London Underground, and the Beirut Airport. Mr Coppi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSc in Civil Engineering from Princeton University

Graeme Longbottom (Advisory Board)
Graham Longbottom

Mr Longbottom was a Director of National Grid Australia (during the company’s development and construction of the $800 million undersea interconnect between Tasmania and Victoria in Australia), ex Chairman of Electricity Supply Association of Australia, former CEO of Tasmanian Hydro Electric Corporation.

Mr Longbottom also undertook an assignment with the South Australian Government where he had responsibility for directing the reform of the Electricity Industry in South Australia including providing policy advice to government regarding the State’s participation in the national electricity market.

Mr Longbottom is an experienced energy industry executive with extensive project financing and development experience. He is playing a major role in the sourcing of land and the construction of SunEnergy’s planned 50MW Solar Farm in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.

John T Sharkey (Advisory Board)
John T Sharkey

Mr. Sharkey has held senior management positions with the General Electric Company, Northern Telecom, and the ROLM Corporation, and also participated in a technology start-up in California’s Silicon Valley.He joined MCI Communications to assist in transforming the company from a low cost provider of
residential telecommunication services to become America’s second largest service provider to Fortune 500 companies. In that thirteen year period, MCI revenues grew from $2B to $38B annually.

Mr. Sharkey is a Board member of Mutual of America Institutional Funds, and a member of the Audit committee.He is also a Board member of New York University Glucksman House, Flax Trust, and the Smurfit Graduate School where the John Sharkey Chair of Information Systems and Organization was established, and the American Ireland Fund, where he is a member of their Executive Committee.

He is a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Graham Spurling (Advisory Board)
Graham Spurling

Mr Spurling has extensive engineering and CEO experience running $1 billion companies. In particular he was CEO of GNB Technologies. GNB had a strong position in the battery and energy storage business providing solutions to the automotive, telecommunication and submarine industries.

Former CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Australia, Director - Earthwatch Institute (Boston), Chairman - Earthwatch Institute (Australia) and served on Wal-Mart Environmental Committee chaired by Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton.  Mr Spurling currently is a Director of Dexion Limited, Medvet Inc., Intercast and Forge and Chairman of the Adelaide Catholic Archdiocese Finance Council. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers and a Fellow of The Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.
